The device delivers an electric shock to the heart to restore its normal rhythm in case of a sudden cardiac arrest. These are used when patients need to be moved between wards or to surgery and are at risk of arrest
Cardiac Pacemakers (Acute Cardiac)

A transoesophageal ultrasound (TEE) provides highly detailed images of the heart via a probe in the oesophagus, enabling accurate diagnosis of valve disease, blood clots and structural abnormalities. This enhanced imaging supports early detection and treatment planning, improving patient outcomes. TEE is minimally invasive and often avoids the need for surgical diagnostic procedures.
